DNet and Linux?

I can't seem to get DNet to use my modem connection in Linux. To the best of my knowledge I have my DNet client set up properly. I have talked with several people who run DNet on Linux and they too were baffled. Whenever I am connect through my modem I can surf the web just fine, but DNet refuses to upload/download new work. It simply gives me some error message and say that it will retry in 3 seconds. After a few retries it quits. I'd really appreciate anything you guys got for me...I'd love to get some Linux systems cranking RC5, right now I'm running 100% windows🙁
