I bought a used AMD HD3450 card on Ebay for an older machine that had its PCI-E card go bad. I didn't know when I got it that it had one of those DMS-59 dual monitor ports, so I got also got a DMS-59-to-2DVI adapter that lets it work with two monitors. I'm not getting anything on the monitor when I turn on the machine, so I don't know if the card is bad, the adapter is bad, or if the card just won't work in this system.
Do graphics cards with the DMS-59 port generally work on most machines, or is there some special BIOS feature that the motherboard needs?
