DMI pool - help!!!

I am building a computer for my father. The exact same one as I built for myself. Epox 8kha+ mb and and amd xp 1900 cpu. I get everything ing the case and started up the computer. I go into bios and everything is set correctly there. Then when I put the DOS disk in to load windows for him it loads the the point where it says Verifying DMI Pool and sits there. I am creating a new dos disk, but that other one boots my computer just fine. What's my problem? Any help will be greatly appreciated.😕
