Primary IDE Channel

Its selected as DMA mode if available.

But then when it says mode, it says PIO Mode.

Primary meaning my HDD right? My HDD is on the IDE1 Master, and I have a Burner on the IDE2 Master. The IDE2 Primary says that DMA is enabled. How do I enable DMA for my HDD?

Installed the Via 4 in 1 that came with motherboard. I'm having the hardest time having them stay DMA. It's on DMA if available, but it says PIO Mode. HELP HELP HELP!
 
Do you have UDMA enabled in the bios? A HD should show as DMA, it's the cdrom's everyone is having problems with.
 
Yeah I do. I have a hard time with the 4in1 drivers. Anyone with the KT7A133 Motherboard care to share with me how do you enable DMA on primary IDE controller?
