DLP Bulb Replacement Question

Hey guys,

Pretty sure they bulb on my DLP TV died, as it's been in use with the original bulb for about 5 years now. When I try to turn it on now it sounds like it's powering up, then does nothing.

The model is a Samsung HLS5086WX/XAA. I'm pretty sure the replacement bulb I need is model BP96-01472A (P132w). I was looking for a cheap place to buy it, and was wondering if anyone has had any trouble buying replacement bulbs off of eBay. I found what I think is the correct bulb here for a reasonable price. I also think that's Philips are the original manufacturers of the lamp, and I'd like to stick with them.

Is the above a good way to go about this? Also, is there anything I need to know about the replacement process before trying it myself?

TIA

Same here....I used seller "newtvlamps". Shipped fast and the bulb was cheap....it was a Phillips OEM replacement bulb. Piece of cake to install.
