I am using Windows10 and was connected to vdsl Internet with an Asus DSL ac68u.

Now I switched to a faster fiber connection and they gave me another cheap modem (ZTE zxhn h267a) which gets Wan password automatically and I couldn't find a way to learn that password (so that I could use my asus modem for fiber and iptv that came with it)

I am now using h267a. It was connected with a cat cable to my PC upstairs and I was able to use my TV to watch videos from my computer with Universal Media Server installed on the PC.
Since the wireless was weak upstairs I decided to use my old Asus DSL modem upstairs by disabling DSL option and using it as a router . I removed the cat cable from my PC and connected it to the lan1 port of the Asus DSL ac68u after setting it as Wan port. And put another cat cable to lan2 port and connected it to the PC. Asus modem changed its ip from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.2.1 and started giving ips starting with 192.168.2.x since the new fiber modem uses 192.168.1.1

The PC is now connected to Internet through Asus but it stopped seeing my fiber modem, Samsung mu9000 tv and soundbar (the soundbar is connected to 5g wifi of new fiber modem) in the window that shows all network devices.

Universal Media Server no longer detects the TV and soundbar. The only way is to plug the cable coming from fiber modem downstairs directly to my PC bypassing the Asus DSL ac68u.

I tried pinging my TVs ip which is 192.168.1.3 and it responds.

How do I fix this?

ZTE zxhn h267a ls a Modem Router.

Thus the Asus should be used as Switch @ an Access Point and whole Network shoud be on one IP band that comes from the Modem Router.

Using Wireless Routers (or Modem/Wireless Router) as a Switch with an Access Point - http://www.ezlan.net/router_AP.html
