When I ran Dependency Walker on two different machines, I found something very odd.

MSCOREE.dll has a different timestamp on each machine. On one machine it is dated 9/23/2005 at 7:28 am, and the other is 9/23/2005 at 8:28 am. It is .NET Framework v2.0.

MD5 has returns the same value for each file.

How in the world did they get different timestamps by one hour?

Timezones most likely. MD5 doesn't care about the time so it makes sense that they would compute to the same.
