Dlink Wireless PC Card on nx9010

Having a weird problem. Got a friend who has an old HP compaq nx9010 that has a weird problem. He bought and installed a D-Link DWL-G650 PC card on it, which works fine. Only problem is, every time you boot the laptop, the system doesn't detect the card. You have to unplug and re-plug it before the system detects it. If you check device manager, there's a question mark on the device, which promptly goes once you unplug and re-plug. This is very annoying to have to do every time you boot the laptop. Has anyone had a problem like this? Any possible remedies?

Thanks.

Try an older driver just one version back. If you used the driver on the CD then try to download a newer one from their site if possible...
