I just reinstalled xp home on my laptop, now I cant load my dlink wireless card, and when i try to installed the air utility it has an 'x' through it on the toolbar, any suggestions??

uninstall the software.

control panel> system > hardware tab> device manager

there find the card (it might have an x or an exclamation point in it.

right click it and select uninstall.

reboot the pc, and when it asks it for drivers, tall it fro ma specific location, and the file selection dialog popus up. point it to the drivers (the unzipped olfer if you downlaoded it or the CD) and keep clicking the folders until you find one that has a file in it via that window.

instlal it, and hten use windows to setup/configure/use the wireless connection
