Dlink Router LAN ports do not work

I have a Dlink DI 824VUP router that works fine as a wireless router but none of the LAN ports work. I cannot even ping the default gateway when I connect the LAN cable.

I need the port to connect the cable to my vonage router.

What could be the reason?

unit is failing, may want to warranty replace it if it was bought not long ago.

I think a power surge might have killed the lan ports. It did rain heavily here.

was it just rain or did you get lightning?

yes, rain and lightning.

if it's within warranty window, I'd have Dlink replace it.
