Which router would you consider for home use I am looking to upgrade to an AC router. but can't not decide which router to get linksys ea 6400 or a dlink 1200ac router

Agree except the AC66 has a slower CPU than both the A56 and AC68.
Amazon has the 68 for the same price as you linked the 66
