I have a Dlink DUB-H7 USB hub. My Logitech MX 620 mouse is plugged into it.
The hub is displayed in Device Manager as a Generic USB Hub and it is plugged into the back of my machine. All the ports on the motherboard are high speed USB 2.
When ever I wake up my machine, with the mouse mind you, I get a warning that the device would work better if it was plugged into a high speed port and it lists all the other ports on the machine excluding the hub.
I am not sure why I get the message. The hub is USB 2.
Do other hubs show in device manager with their manufacturer's make and model and also show as high speed?
I'm wondering if a different hub would be recognized by the system any differently and stop these messages.
