DLink Dir-655

If I leave utorrent running over night with my dir-655, I wake up in the morning to see my vista box no longer connected to the internet. I am forced to reboot the router.
How can this be fixed?

have an A3 with the latest firmware 1.11

The problem may not be on your end. DSL is quite sensitive to moisture. i.e. when it's downpouring, the speed may be slower than when it's sunny.

However, if the symptom happens on a regular basis, the problem may be on your end.

Have you tried another client like vuze?

Um... I've never heard of DSL being dependent on atmospheric conditions. Interesting.

Anyway - most home routers aren't configured to accept the kind of loads and open ports that utorrent and other torrent clients can put on them. Try limiting the number of open connections to 20 or 30 in the utorrent software and see if that helps.
