Dlink di-704 invalid password :( + need help with internet connection sharing

I'm trying to get past the DI-704 password screen so I can configure the router to another ip address. I want to make it another IP address because I'm trying to enable internet sharing through windows xp and it gives me an error saying that it has to use ip 192.168.0.1 which is what the router is using. I tried to flash the router to a new version of the firmware but it requires a password. I've tried setting the factory defaults for the router but that doesn't seem to help. Anyone have any suggestions for either case? 🙁
 
1. Why do you want to use ICS when you have a router ?

2. The default password is "admin" if you've changed it you will have to reset the router.
