Where would I find this information?

Basically what's the max download to a client PC with this router? All the ports operate on 100Mbps but consumer routers rarely go that high. What's its speed limit?

Unless you have FIOS or some other fancy connection that it is above 10Mb/sec. it does not matter what this Router's WAN port is "Speed" is.

Oh where they hooked it up is very fast. It's topping out at 30Mbps and they told me the line was a 100Mb "handout" hence that's why I'm wondering. Still makes a 640kb LEOSAT look silly. :Q

Be aware that though the chart looks very impressive, it does not necessarily indicates that there is a real functional merit to the info giving.

If you read carefully the Article you would find comments that basically void the utility of such the chart.

Unless you really have a Super Fast connection. Do not let this be your major decision factor.

One of few, as an example

Quote.

?While this test accurately tests the best-case performance of a router, it has its weaknesses. The most basic weakness is that it doesn't reflect how a router responds to the simultaneous up and download traffic that routers see in real life. And the 500 kbps rate used in our UDP Streaming test doesn't reflect the performance requirements of IPTV and other video streaming applications that are becoming increasingly important consumer broadband applications?.

My connection is not fast but the router is there temporarily to have access to a system where the connection is very, very fast. They temporarily had the computer plugged into a gigabit switch and 2003 SP1 downloaded in about 19 seconds. (over 300MB file).

It's temporary anyway until the 515 arrives. :)

Hmm... 300MB in 19 sec. is about 15MB/sec.

15MB/sec. (with over head and losese) would amount to Internet connection of 150Mb/sec. May be on Chulak???
