DLink 900AP+ 4X bios/driver increased throughput

I didn't find anyone else who posted this info so...
I have a DLink DWL-650+ and a 900AP+ and aside from it's limited range (small house so I don't care) I find it to be a good product. I recently upgraded to the 4X BIOS and 4X driver. I went from a about 4-6 Mbs to 8-10 Mbs. Not bad for a soft upgrade. Of course I'd love to have the new 802.11g products, but for net surfing and small network transfers it works just fine.

You probably referring to a post that on mine a while ago.

I tried the same and ended up with quirky unstable system.

10Mb/sec. looks very good. I probably did some thing wrong.

Would you mind posting the numbers of the 900AP+ firmware, and the firmware drivers of the 650+?

I would like to give it a second try.

Thanks,

Jack
