Over at Gund Arena in Ohio. Only original member is Axl, but you can't tell the other guys are missing. Well worth going to see. I just woke up 20 min ago, every part of me hurts, 99% of my cooler is empty, my head is pounding, my clothes STILL reek of weed from people around me smokin', I have 11 phone numbers and some married chick wanted to boink my brains out & kept trying to get in my pants. A night of rock, boobs, splifs, alcohol, and soft pretzels. :D

I feel like a damn train wreck. :Q Ugh.

Wish I could go to the GNR show in Houston in december, but I have to work that night. :(

Anyways, im still pumped after seeing Dio and Hammerfall in Austin a couple of nights ago. Dio is still the king of rock and roll and Hammerfall is simply awesome. Great show.

They are playing near me in a week or so. I just didn't feel like coughing up the $40 a pop for tickets.

Could you really not tell the difference? Slash sorta gave GNR that spice image. Duff was my favorite. I didn' t like the second drummer they had I doubt I'd like the third.

Sorta weird how he tried to keep the band alive that way, huh.

I saw them when they were on their Use your illusions I & II tour. I was like 12, Skid Row opened for them. They rawked.

They will be here in London Ontario at the end of the month. A new block of tickets just went on sale.

I know some people that were going to go to that concert, but they got busted for underage consumption of alcohol, and had to be back in Columbus this morning for court. Their parents wouldnt let them go home for the concert, not wanting them to show into court with bloodshot eyes and smelling of stale beer/weed. So they missed out. One of them had really, really good tickets too.

Because of the riots in Columbus, they are getting screwed on the possession charge. Everyone who went in today and pled guilty/no contest to charges of underage consumption got 6 months. They are going to try and plead not-guilty and see what happens, they now have a court date on the 10th of December. These are upper-middle class, daddy-bought-me-a-VW-Bettle-because-they're-so-cute (literally, in one case) girls... They arent going to respond well to 6 months in jail, if they get it.

Only original member is Axel? I thought Iggy came back--or did he just do the MTV thing? On the tour did buckethead to guitar?

They're playing in Greenville, SC December 11. I want to get to that show. Dunno if I'll be able to or not. I don't have a lot of money right now and I'm already going to see Chevelle, Sinch, and Stone Sour tomorrow night. The 11th is my last day of finals, so there's nothing to do the next day (except maybe go home, heh).

Dio was in Austin and i missed it?!?!!? sonofabitch!

after seeing gnr at the mtv awards i wouldn't pay to see them.

It's *Izzy* (although I like Iggy too), he hasn't rejoined, and that wasn't him on the MTV awards.

Slash, Izzy, Duff, and Sorum are trying to get their own band together right now. Could be good if they don't blow it on picking a singer.

And are you sure it wasn't him, they freakin said it was him. I am also of the opinion that Buckethead is Slash... sounded just like him.

Dizzy Reed is back in the band playing keyboards. He wasn't an original member but he was there for the Use Your Illusion albums.

At first glance I thought it was him too (kind of hoped it was him), but it wasn't. At those awards they had a guy from NIN playing guitar (Robin Finck), Buckethead, and one other guitarist (not Izzy). Don't know if this is still the lineup -- with Axl running things you can expect things to be in a constant state of disarray :D
