DIY Tilt-Shift Lens

Has anyone here ever made one? I'm tinkering around with the idea, I'm currently bidding on a cheap lens on eBay, and if I get that then I'll progress and grab a spare body cap.

Biometar 80/2.8 MC for Pentacon Six on commercial EOS tilt adapter.

Works for me. Big, sharp image circle, manual controls, moderately fast/versatile lens, inexpensive.

Those tilt adapters are pretty pricey, or at least the minimum I'm finding is $200. That + Lens is rather expensive compared to what I linked, but it is inexpensive compared to a commercial lens.
