DIY headphone amp

im searching around looking for a $100 or so headphone amp to build for extra credit, im on headwize.org glancing at what i can find just wondering if you guys have any suggestions

PIMETA is too complex if he's a) just doing it for extra credit and b) doesn't have experience. Plus, it can cost quite a bit more than $100. Cmoy is the cheapest way to go. It costs around $25 (plus equipment, if you don't have it) and it can be built in a couple of hours (less than two hours of actual soldering, more time for casework if you care for that).

Nah, you can ghetto-rig a CMOY quite easily. The only item of expense is the solder which any self-respecting nerd has somewhere in his house.
