In this episode of Tricked Out, host Andrew Totolos will "trick out" a 2004 Toyota Matrix. The first trick is to upgrade the factory intake with the installation of a short-ram system. Then Andrew shows viewers how a piggyback engine control unit will keep pace with past, present and future engine mods. Finally, Andrew adds an axle-back exhaust system to complete the transformation from "grocery-getter" to "go-getter".

These guys spent about $1500 on parts for this Matrix, and they managed to get an extra 6 HP out of it. The main host of the show was really excited about how the new exhaust made the car sound. I thought it sounded like crap, but I guess everyone has their opinion on what they like.
