well the headlight bulb for my accord cost $5, so you lose! 🙂

also, when the park interlock on the auto tranny died, i did the cheapest repair of all: i took it out and threw it away.
 
You could've changed your throttle body yourself for $400 or so, or you could've just bought a few cans of throttle body cleaner, and you could've had it working fine again for $3.
It's quite easy to replace, just six screws and two hoses.
