Whe someone uses a pic without permission - how do the websites find this out? How do they know exactly which file it is? I'm on a Dixiesys server btw using the ensim control panel.
 
you can check your web logs and see who is accessing what

if a .jpg is getting hammered, it is probably hot linked on some forum/web page

if your bandwidth is limited, this could be a Bad Thing for you
