DivX player for Dreamcast

Does anyone know if there is a DivX player for the dreamcast or how to convert from DivX to VCD (so it can be played on the DC)?

I've been meaning to see a movie with this girl for months now (since May) and we had been meaning to see Pearl Harbor. Well, we never did and now I just found Pearl Harbor on DivX so I thought I would invite her over and we would watch it. I don't care how bad of a movie it is...it's 3 hours...watching a movie with her...a movie with sentimental, hopeless romantic implications!

Dude...whatever. It's not out on DVD or VHS yet. So Pearl Harbor was a bad movie...it's not about the movie...I'm probably not gonna realize that Ben Afleck was in the movie by the end.

Kenny, got a PM for me with a link to the divx player? Maybe I'll have better luck- heh.

I have the mpg player already btw - yes, it does work well.

DivX can produce awesome quality video.

I just got Enemy at the Gates, and damn it's so close to a DVD. Even has AC3 5.1 sound... (1.4GB though...)

Because odds are my parents will be home so at least if we were watching a movie they would stay upstairs...which is another sad statement. It's hard asking a girl on a date while being in high school with no license (yet) and parents that don't go out enough.

divx rules man..... only from dvd rips of course.... anything screened usually sucks, or is of "for kicks to watch" quality.

Watching them on a tv helps a bit via my divx/lan box

Is there a way to span a movie onto two CD-Rs if the file size of the DiVX file is greater than 700MB? I ask because soon I am going to be doing this too. (this weekend I get the DVD-ROM and the Radeon 64 VIVO finally).

I never could ge the DivX player to work, then again the VCD player took a long time to get to work in itself!

I've never seen a working DivX player for the DC. I figured we'd see one out by now because of the mass popularity. But I think it takes quite a bit of processing power to decode/play a divix, and I'm not sure a DC can handle it. It works with VCD's because that's relativly simple, I believe divx is quite complex.
