I just got a very good quality of Fight Club off a friend, he ripped it himself. So i copied it from the 2 cd's onto my harddrive to play, then when I opened, the video froze after about 12 seconds of play. if i pause the movie, skip the first twelve seconds, and play from say the 13th second, it seems to freeze at the 24th second. wherever i fast-forward the movie to, it freezes after a few seconds of play. the sound keeps going, but the video itself freezes. it happens with both cd's. what could be wrong? i am thinking possibly codecs, although i've got Nimo codec pack installed, also divx4, divx5, some other codecs, don't know.
when the guy that ripped it plays the movie, it works fine!
