divx encoding, have frame loss problem using flaskmpeg ?

So I use flaskmpeg and encode the dvd into divx5 format.

However, the end product .avi have frame loss thorughout the movie.

I use a P4 1.8, 512Mb ram PC to encode it....

i.e. movie goes on for a few second but frame freeze..

I wonder what is the cause of frame loss ?

don't use flask. gordian knot works great, though it is a hodgepodge of programs.

Retry it with gordian knot.

btw, I haven't figure out how to use it despite reading the guide on doom9.
