DIVX Capable DVD Players

right now i have a basic toshiba player. plays all divx files fine, but its only capable of playing divx/mpeg4 files with a resolution of 720x480 or below. are there any players out there that are capable of playing videos with a higher resolution?


if so, what are they? im looing for a new dvd player and i would like to get a better.
 
ok thanks. are there any good hd-divx players? or possibly players that are compatible with the matroksa/h264 codec?

I don't know of any HD players that play DIVX format. Frankly, I doubt they exist.
 
I don't know of any DVD players that can, but you can rather easily convert your Divx files over to an Xbox compatible format and burn to a disc for it to play. I don't have a PS3, but I would assume a similar capability for it.
