DivX 5 and gordian knot question.

Since gordian knot doesn't allow you to set any codec settings, are the new divx 5 features like global motion compensation default on?

will it even use divx5 by default since i have divx 4 still installed? or do i have to go without full automation until newer versions?

using .23 beta

well it seems that gknot still doesnt support divx5 so I wouldnt use it, I'm just using xing mpeg for it, and virtual dub

yeah, I just started divxing stuff when divx5 came out and I tried to use gknot but I didnt like it because it had no support for divx5.

and the sucky thing is that I cant use xing either, gives me some error when I try to load up vob files... so untill I get that fixed I just use virtual dub for all my mpegs to save some space

ah well i think i'm gonna juse use gordian knot to make the avs files, then encode in vdub. hm now to guess what bitrate to encode credits🙂
