in England, but no reason it couldnt happen here.

Shorty's Opinion:
Most of these people were in lousy marriages and just didnt know it until forced to confront reality. Also this does not account for all the unmarried couples stuck living together as I seriously doubt new houses and apartments are being built right now. In fact if you just hit google with "divorce boom" you'll see a buttload of articles going into more detail. Even China has it bad.

divorce boom was happening everywhere due to the pandemic consequences and circumstances, tbh. During this pandemic I finally understood why my husband isn't a perfect match for me and why we're arguing so frequently. It turned out he is too self-centered and too egoistic type. Unfortunately, it turned out that he has narcissistic love type, he is always trying to manipulate and devaluate me.
Don't even ask why I didn't notice all these unhealthy things earlier. Everything is really easy to understand- we were working separately, he had his job, I had mine, we weren't spending all time together.
The lockdown has shown all the problems we have in a relationship. I hope that we will be able to overcome all the hardships on our way.

Me and the missus have got though this OK with two kids.

But. We live in the countryside so there's space around. I'm a nurse so I've been working throughout, and that means the youngest child (9yo) has been able to take advantage of keyworker school. The missus is self employed and her work has carried on uninterrupted.

If we lived in a block of flats in the middle of a city and the four of us were locked up together for most of a year I don't like to think how it would have gone! I really feel for people in that situation, they got it tough.
