Divinity: Original Sin missing skill point bug?

Started plkaying this game a couple of days ago, when I noticed that one point I spent in Loremaster was missing. I know I invested the point in that skill, in that precise character because I used it to identify several items., Suddenly, the skill is 0 and the skill point is lost. Does somebody knows about this bug in the game?

Ill have to check, but I think I dont. also, I was thinking if death and resurrection penalizes the character with something. Not widely used in modern games, but played a roguelike (Mordor) years ago where death could cause loss of primary stats.

Are you certain you specifically added a point to the skill, and you didn't have a point in that skill from a trait or a piece of equipment?
I haven't seen anything that would cause a permanent skill drop in 65 hours of play (granted, on PS4, but that aspect of the game shouldn't be any different), including death/resurrection.
I haven't seen any equipment with penalties on it yet, either.

are you playing the enhanced edition? Or directors cut whichever it is. been a while but YES, I do remember the same thing.

Just google around, but I THINK a workaround was to do a quick save then a quick load after you set your skill point. But that was a while ago and I thought they had fixed that by now.

I have to check what version it is. I have noticed small glitches, mostly graphical, so perhaps it is not the enhanced edition.
