Divine Divinity - $2.99 at GOG

Even if they were on sale, and normally cost much more? That's a bizarre view of a games worth. This is absolutely worth getting if you like RPGs and can tolerate some cheese.

If you like hack and slash diablo type game its a good buy.

I really enjoyed figuring out how to steal stuff by using the teleport stones.

I heard this game was BAD ASS. I never did play it though. At $3 and no DRM I am definitely going to pick up a copy though. I heard the sequel was pretty bad though.

FYI, it's only $2.99 if you buy it along with Beyond Divinity (for a total of $7.98). Otherwise it's $4.19 on its own.

It's a good game and I think the quests are a bit stronger than hack&slash as well as the extended skill set; BUT it has very poor graphics (if you care - about on par with diablo 2); it is single player only (if you care); the campaign is very very long - the start and end are the strong points; it slows down a little in the middle but is not bad.

So yes I think it is a good game and as you can tell from the many years of tweaks; well supported.

This is the closest post. It's a steal for the price if you like RPG's. It was an RPG, not a 'hack and slash' like Diablo IMO. I liked it, it's a more independant game so another reason I was glad to support it.

It had enough of its own flavor to not be 'just a cookie cutter rpg', but it's in the basic formula.

It's going to look older, though.

Yeah, the name brought quite a bit of derision and the graphics are certainly nothing to get excited about but the world is large, there are some very interesting side quests -- in fact a lot of them -- that makes it more than a simple hack & slash.

Even your in-game decisions can affect quite significantly certain events down the proverbial road.

I really liked the game a lot and it kept my interest.

Good game. Yes it's worth it. It's an old game though so expect old style graphics. I had a ball playing it though! Think Diablo clone and don't expect too much more and you will be happy. Oh and as always buyer be ware when it comes to running old games on new hardware.
