As far as people are concerned, the AR15 is a machine gun because it exists in a fully automatic configuration too. In fact, the full version of the white guy's encounter has the cop pulling showing off his fully automatic AR15 machine gun.

Note: I am not a gun person so I may be wrong in equating fully automatic guns with "machine guns."

We are free to interpret the 2nd as being fulfilled within reason... such as the 1st amendment and yelling fire.

Yes, machine gun and fully automatic guns are synonymous terms for weapons that continue to fire while the trigger is pulled and ammo exists.

Pretty much all semi-autos can be converted to full autos but that would be illegal.

It's not all about them. If they can't do it, the you or I can't do it. They are asserting the right so that we don't lose the right. The police clearly don't think it's normal when they react like this. If it were normal do you think they'd react like this?

Note: I don't own a gun and have only reluctantly ever even fired one with some others who were target-shooting (I didn't care for it).
