Disturbing noise from PS fan

About 3 days ago I started hearing a new rattling/chirring sound from my home-build machine with Casedge LX734A case. It would start randomly for ~5-7 min, then go away briefly, then start again etc. Moderately annoying. After looking carefully, I found that it's the fan in power supply that makes noise. I looked with a flashlight, it seemed to be moving freely, nothing seemed to touch it.

Is this the first sign it's going to break soon? I often leave this system unattended, so it's be a pretty bad thing to happen... Any experiences how to fix this? Also, the case might still be under warranty(not sure), would this problem be enough to request a replacement/repair?

Perhaps you should open the Power Supply, take out the fan, remove the label and the middle plastic piece and add a drop of oil to it.

on a really old computer, i saw a ps fan that had cracked and when it ran it sounded like a small airplane. i took out the ps fan and replaced it with a new one, and all was as it should be. the old fan had cracked in about three different places just from age and wear.
