Disturbing journal entry by friend of mine...

oh yea, so this is scary
i go home, and my mom says her friend irene is dead. just like that. past away for a good 3 weeks sometime after she came back from thailand without anybody knowing. sadly, she was not on good terms with her husband. they were living separately in the same house that was hers (she was the more well-to-do). of course, her husband was happy that she was gone. he had her cremated without a service and that was that. like she disappeared off the face of the earth. apparently she was diagnosed with advanced forms of lung cancer and given several weeks to live.. and she lived something like 3 days...
