I just watched District 13 again. Man it's a great flick! I hate action movies that use shaky/blurry camera work to make shoddy action look better than it really is, and this movie uses none of that. It's in french with US subs, but that doesn't distract from the movie at all.

For those interested its an action flick in the same vein as The Transporter in terms of fighting style... only better.

I thought it was absolutely epic.

I love it when that cop just gives 20 guys a total beat down/killjob. Absolutely amazing.

The Parkour scene was amazing as well. Those dudes are so jacked.

Yup, exactly. I think foreign films are gaining popularity on Hollywood b/c of Hollywoods complete disrespect for the movie fans. Real fighting skill >>>> Shaky cam of a big name celeb fighting.

It definitely wasn't bad for what it was (essentially a movie vehicle built around parkour). No La Femme Nikita, though . . .

I watched this in HD a few year ago. Too bad the actor who played K2 (Tony D'Amario) died 2005. :(

Yeah, exactly. Completely agree. I think though a lot of the times it is the actor's guild or whatever it is that keeps shitty actors in.

Not sure though.
