Distribution of Cable through house.....

Looking for suggestions on distributing cable connections throughout the house. What hardware do you recommend to split the cable? More than just 3 or 4 locations.

You will absolutely need to get a signal amplifier for doing that. Each split will cause a 15db drop in the signal. Anything more then 2-3 splits and you should really look to getting an amplifier. As for what splitter to use, I really don't know. However, as for what cable to use, you should get RG6QS wire with a solid copper core. This cable is rated to be able to carry HDTV signals through it, so you might as well do it now even if you do not own a HDTV yet, since you are going through the trouble of running the wire, you might as well do it correct now and not have to go through the process again in a couple years when you do upgrade to HDTV.
