Distorted Display

Hello,

Recently I reformatted a friend's computer, putting Windows XP, the same operating system, back on it. However, now after a few hours of use, the screen will get distorted with various drawing errors. This can be temporarily fixed by telling Windows to change the screen resolution or refresh rate. However, it has always come back. It uses Intel integrated graphics and the correct drivers have been installed. Any suggestions on how I could fix this?

Did some testing. Found out that the integrated graphics were going bad after it had gotten worse and we tested on two different Operating Systems and monitors.

I'm not pretty sure but I guess you got the wrong driver.
