I think 8800gt is a bit outdated. Go for 4850/4870 512mb at least. You can play crysis at decent FPS at 1280 X 1024 (Enough res for 19" I suppose).

Come on man> Your system should be plenty stout to play crysis @ Very High, just not with AA enabled. I have a budget system with a 19" Monitor and i am able to play Crysis and Warhead @ Very high with motion blur maxed out no AA @ 1440X900. But you should have upgraded to 4gb of ram especially when you have 64bit Vista. Go for a GTX260 or a 4870 to add @ very high settings some AA.

I would take crysis and trade it for 2gb more ram!!!

I cannot understand those who will pay hundreds of dollars to upgrade hardware just to play an already overpriced game,... to each their own.

DX9 Crysis @ 16 x 10 is smooth as on my wee 96GT, cant understand you struggling with 14 x 9.....try DX9 API
