Now I'm well aware they probably have little control over who buys ads from their reseller.

But I saw something about Dianetics and a buzzer went off about Scientology. Turns out I was right...it was an advertisment for a Hubbard self-help book. Now I'm all for religious freedom. I'm in the religious minority and lost relatives in the Holocaust to persecution. But when a religion's founder admits it was a money-making scheme and people have their lives ruined, I don't think it is something that should be spread or advertised by respectable sites.

I agree....

Anything to do with a religion that is slightly older than I am is just wrong;)

hate to make this a religous thread...

but all religions were started by somebody...
wuts wrong if a guy starts his own?
if he was around 2000 years ago, he could very well have a huge following

This issue has come up in the past. Anand has dealt with it personally each time, the ads were put up without his authorization and I recall he had them removed.

I'm sure he'll do the same again.
