Disrespecting a Person Makes Little Sense

Just want to put out into the public knowledge that disrespecting a person (even slightly) has very little benefit. I'm not talking about direct insults, or even things that are intentional.

I'm talking about little things. Interrupting, changing a subject abruptly, showing up late, saying anything in a negative light. People HATE that.

Here's how I look at things. We can either treat someone respectfully and have them return the favor, or we can act disrespectfully and create bitterness.

I asked around, and people take little things just as seriously as I do. But they don't go around advertising that they are annoyed. They just start showing less effort towards helping you, stop responding, etc. I've been told this happens in real life relationships, businesses, and employee/employer relationships.

In fact I think it's better to just come out and tell a person how you feel rather than let it boil over in your head.

My .25 on this.

p.s. None of these rules apply on the internet.

If youre that hung up on 'the little things', you're not really worth my time anyway.

Disrespecting someone on the internet makes even less sense.

See above ^ 😛

I agree. Being a total douche in real life is so different than being a total douche on ATOT. I still talk to the douches on ATOT whereas I ignore the ones in real life.

I'm sure you aren't trolling so I'll explain this to you.

The little things are extremely important. Most of the time even I can't put my finger on it, but I'll say "I like this guy" or "He's not worth my time" based on how he/she acts. Were they on time, did they pay attention, were they respectful, etc.

These are also the things that determine whether a girlfriend gives head or goes out with her friends. Or what convinces the lady at the courthouse to file a form right away instead of throwing them in a bin.

So don't mistake this as getting caught up on the little things. It's a general attitude that can help a person get ahead with people, or be disliked.

Treat people with respect and get the same in return??? Bwahahahahahahah.....what planet do you live on?

Absolutely true.

It may be true, but I just don't have time. I have to get home and my GTA:SA. Man, that game rocks!! So get the fvck out of the fast lane if you can't go faster than me, or I'll be forced to tailgate you with one hand hanging the bird out the side window.
