KVR400D2N3K2/2G: ie a 2 GB kit of Kingston ValueRam, PC3200 (CL3), non-ECC, your usual 1.8V DDR DIMMs, for $38 after $7 instant rebate direct from Kingston. Currently appears to qualify for free postage.
This isn't fast memory, even for the nForce 2 days, but it's a great price on a pair of PC3200 sticks. If, like me, you're still running DDR machines, it makes for a compelling purchase. Even after I build my Xeon E3110 system, I'll have need of more DDR memory as I convert my older Athlon systems to servers.
Edited: ach! the Kingston page lists 240-pin DIMMs, though standard PC3200 DDR is 184-pin, 2.6 V. Opening the datasheet PDF, one reads:
a kit of two 128M x 64-bit 1GB (1024MB) DDR2-400 CL3 SDRAM...
...each module include sixteen 64M x 8-bit (16M x 8-bit x 4 Bank)
DDR2-400 SDRAM in FBGA packages.
This isn't a deal after all. 😱 Nothing to see here; move on, move on...
