Disproving the Da Vinci Code

Seriously I just saw this on TV.

I think I'm gonna disprove something else from the fiction section.

What about Lord of the Rings? There are no such things as hobbits!
Or maybe Star Wars? Obviously the death star is unfeasable. People long ago in a galaxy far far away? Please...

I find it hilarious that people are trying to disprove something that is fiction.

Dan Brown does make the claim that it is fictional characters acting on real documented facts. Absent that claim I doubt anyone would be debunking anything.

But doing so in a fiction book makes it true? Or wouldn't that just be part of the fiction?

He has made these claims outside the scope of the book. That is what prompted 60 Minutes to do the story showing that the Priory of Scion is a hoax.

He's *never* said that it was a completely true story based on fictional characters.

I think its funny that it was these same people who were telling the Muslims to STFU when it came to Mohammed, but when it came to Jesus, they try to silence the movie by getting it banned.

Hypocrisy at its best!
