Disposing CDs

I have about 400 CD's that are a couple of years old and have no use for. Selling them is useless because the software is so old. So what's the best way to get rid of them.

Not looking for ideas for destruction or making fun furniture. Just wondering if there's someplace i can bring them and they won't be thrown out.

Put them in a cardboard box labeled "Free CDROMS" and place outside by the dumpster. I did that exact same thing a few years ago and they were all gone in matter of hours.

Some of the software (most?) is probably not legal to use without the license key. That said bring it to a salvation army or something like that and see if they'll take it.

definitely ebay. I'm sure even though some are a few years old, that's something someone is looking for. Put it up for $0.99 and it will go up. Make sure they're covering the shipping too.

What kind of software, would it be useful to anyone or is it free aol disks? CDs are made of polycarbonate which is not usually recyclable, so you can sell or save them waiting for the day when CDs can be recycled. I'm saving an old computer now hoping that Office Depot will have recycling like they did last year.

label it "Mystery spindle of crap" and sell them on ebay,
you will probably get a huge check from goldenpalace.
