I learned about that by going through the Tteam America:World Police movie clips section. As a goof, they put one on a puppet, mimicing a hand granade. Ya, it's a real weapon!

Nail clippers ARE allowed on the plane. If it's got a swivelling nail file, you can either trash it or security can cut it off for you. I just took a flight from PDX on Saturday, and I specifically asked security about my manicure set. I ended up just sending it back him with my mom before I continued through security. I took my Mach3 in my carry-on. It went right through the x-ray machine and the lady didn't say anything about it. She scanned my bag a little longer than others, but that's because I had everything crammed into my seabag.
