Question Displayport or Thunderbolt

Unless your monitor has a built in hub that the TB connection is going to feed it doesn't matter.
If you are just passing video and sound id probably stick with DP just because it's simpler and in my head there's less to go wrong with drivers but I think that TB carries the same signal as DP.

Edit: You sure it isn't DP or HDMI?
 
Thanks. I also "feel" that DP seems to be more stable. Anybody knows the reason?

My monitor has both Mini-DP and Thunderbolt ports.
