I have two DVI monitors (well, they have HDMI as well, but I've never been a fan I suppose due to handshake issues in the past... old demons and all!), and a new 7950 card with two mini displayport and one HDMI.

Can I just buy a DisplayPort to DVI dongle? My monitors run at 1920 each if that's any help. I was thinking of buying two of these: http://www.amazon.com/DisplayPort-Fe...layport+to+dvi

Thanks for any help!

To answer your question, yes. I would stick with one from an AMD partner, though. Not all DP adapters are VESA compliant. Are you saying your card doesn't have a DVI out?

Nope, no DVI out.. just HDMI and displayport. There's a dongle for HDMI to DVI though.

just make sure it's an ACTIVE displayport adapter, and like others said, don't be shy with spending a few bucks on getting a good AMD partner one. i got a really cheap one once and it did not last very long. the display would go in and out. the visionteck ones are my favorite, and i never had a problem with sapphire either (i use AMD cards on all 3 display workstations at work, so i have quite a few).
