Displayport -> Dual-link DVI adapter, then Dual-link -> 2x DVI

This question popped up at work among a few of us. Can you sort of daisy-chain these two adapters, especially on a stock Dell system with 2xDP connectors. Trying to see if it is feasible to create a triple-monitor setup with all DVI, without any active adapters, USB adapters, or utilizing the VGA connections.

Doable? I guess I can't guarantee that the bundled DP-DVI adapter is actually Dual-Link, but I'd imagine it would be.
