Displaying video across two displays

Is it possible to display video full screen across two displays? I have a Radeon 9800 Pro with 2 17" LCD monitors, for a total res of 2560x1024.

I can playback QuickTime files this way, but of course that's because it's being decoded by software and not hardware.

I was wondering if I could do the same with DivX and Windows Media files.
