Display unreadable when installing Corel Linux 1.2

I downloaded the 450+ MB ISO of Corel Linux 1.2 over a period of a few days. I successfully burned it onto CD, and booted it up. It went through installation and hardware checks fine, but then when it started up the graphical installation the screen was garbled. What's up?

I think it's not compatible..but I don't think any of them are..see my response to descend492 and his post on "linux probs" for the solution that worked for me.

But I can't even get Linux installed, so how could I install Linux drivers? No partitions made, no files copied, etc.

Oh I missed that, i thought you said it had installed...well i think you should see if there is a text installation option (as apposed to graphical) there is sucha thing on red hat, and i ssume it isn't exclusive to just them, so i assume you could do it with correl. That should get you loaded and installed, then you can install the drivers from the command line once you can boot the system
