Display suggestions for Photoshop

Any recommendations for displays that allow for great editing with Photoshop (8 or 10 bit)?

for graphics apps and 3d i like 2560x1440... at least 27" (two if you can afford it)

gives you plenty of room, whereas wider is a bit odd unless you like to run apps windowed or resize and just keep panels off to one side
