Is WUXGA (1920x1200) too small on 15.4" screen? or how about 15.4" WVA WSXGA+ (1680x1050)? How usable are those resolutions on a laptop? I would love the extra space but I'm wondering if text and stuff would be too small. FYI, I'm used to running 1600x1200 on 20" on my desktop.

I think 1920x1200 is way too small. I had an nx7000 wih wsxga+, and it seemed too small at first - but after a couple of days, I got used to it. But I could not go any smaller...

I guess WUXGA (1920x1200) would be tiny on 15.4" screen. I'm just greedy for screen real estate I guess. :p WSXGA+ (1680x1050) it is then.

i use WUXGA and its so sharp that its easier to read the text than on my 19" at 1024 or 1600. I love it at 1920x1200 and its SO crisp.

1920x1200 is way too small for a 15" or so screen. 1680x1050 on a 15" i think is the max i would go for that size. text is pretty small but legible and not hurting on the eyes. i don't really like that high a resolution 'cause when viewing web pages for instance they don't properly fit snuggly in the browser 'cause most web sites are meant to be viewed at around 1024 x 768. but for gaming or video that's fine.
